Reservations

All reservations are subject to availability. A reservation is not confirmed until the required payment has been successfully processed and confirmation has been issued.

Guests are responsible for reviewing reservation dates, property selection, number of guests, fees, policies, and other booking details before completing a reservation.

Rates, taxes, fees, minimum-stay requirements, deposits, and payment schedules will be displayed during the booking process.

Cancellations & Changes

Cancellation and refund terms are provided during the booking process and may vary based on the property, dates, rate, or method of booking.

By completing a reservation, you agree to the cancellation policy associated with your reservation.

Requests to change reservation dates are subject to availability and approval.

Check-In & Check-Out

Check-in and check-out times and instructions will be provided with your reservation.

Guests are responsible for following the arrival and departure instructions provided unless other arrangements have been approved in advance.

Occupancy

Only registered guests included in the reservation may stay at the property unless additional guests have been approved in advance.

Maximum occupancy for each property may not be exceeded.

The person making the reservation is responsible for the conduct of everyone included in the reservation.

Property Care & Damages

Guests are expected to treat the property, furnishings, amenities, and surrounding land with care.

Guests may be responsible for damage, missing items, excessive cleaning, or other costs caused by the guest or members of their party during the stay.

Any damage or maintenance issue should be reported as soon as reasonably possible.

Pets

Pets are permitted only when allowed for the selected property and included with the reservation. Applicable pet fees must be paid.

Pets must be kenneled when left unattended inside the property.

Pets are not permitted on beds or furniture.

Pets must be leashed while outdoors, and guests are responsible for cleaning up pet waste.

Pets may not be bathed inside the property.

Guests are responsible for any damage or excessive cleaning caused by their pets.

Smoking

Smoking is not permitted inside any Misty Oak Getaways property.

Guests may be responsible for additional cleaning or remediation costs resulting from indoor smoking.

Fireworks & Firearms

Fireworks and firearms are not permitted on the property.

Outdoor Areas & Rural Property

Misty Oak Getaways is located in a wooded, rural setting. Guests may encounter wildlife, insects, uneven ground, trees, weather conditions, firepits, outdoor recreational areas, and other conditions commonly associated with rural property.

Guests are responsible for exercising reasonable care while using outdoor spaces and amenities.

Children and pets should be appropriately supervised.

Firepits & Outdoor Fires

Guests are responsible for using firepits safely and following any instructions, burn restrictions, or local regulations in effect during their stay.

Fires must never be left unattended and must be fully extinguished after use.

Guest Conduct

Guests are expected to respect the property, surrounding land, neighbors, other guests, and the surrounding community.

Illegal activity, disruptive behavior, or conduct that creates an unsafe situation may result in termination of the stay without refund where permitted by law.

Website Information

We make reasonable efforts to keep property descriptions, photographs, rates, availability, amenities, and other website information accurate and current.

Information may occasionally change or contain errors. Misty Oak Getaways reserves the right to correct errors or update information when necessary.

Photographs are intended to accurately represent the properties but furnishings, décor, landscaping, seasonal conditions, and other details may change over time.
